Freakpower and Pizzaman), before settling on the one by which
he is now best known and in the early days would not admit to
being the man behind Fatboy Slim - it was merely intended to
be a fun side project to help launch Skint Records. top

Freestylers have only been round a short time, but have already
created their niche as renegade breakbeat boys. Their latest
album We Rock Hard produced the Top 40 anthem Here we Go top

Lavelle
This
internationally renowned DJ and Producer first appeared on the
scene in 1992. As head of Mo’Wax, the infamous breaks
& hip hop imprint, Lavelle has released material from a host
of talented artist including DJ Shadow - check out the landmark
Entroducingalbum. Swift to follow were the Headz and Headz II
compilations, and a great album from Attica Blues. The label
is a fusion of the wide variety of music Lavelle grew up with
and for better or worse Lavelle played an important role in
the birth of the genre which has come to be known as triphop. top
Layo
and Bushwacka
Layo
Paskin and Matthew B are two of the hottest remixers, producers
and DJs in dance music. The duo met through Mr C - with whom
Layo now co-runs The End superclub in London. A mutual respect
for one another's DJ sets and musical tastes led to a close
friendship that soon blossomed into a production partnership.
They have released a number of tracks on various labels, including
Split Personality under the Usual Suspects guise, though they
reverted to their original names for the release of their debut
album Low Life on End Recordings. top

Tipper
makes music for sound systems - bass fuelled electro/breakz
that demand to be played at high volumes to unleash their lethal
potential. With influences ranging from drum 'n' bass to electronica
and a background of classical training, Tipper has created his
own brand of devastating dancefloor gear. top
